The Financial Supervision Commission determines the installments under obligatory insurance with the Guarantee fund for the year 2021

As per the suggestion of the Council of the Guarantee fund, the Financial Supervision Commission approved the amounts of installments that insurers make with funds managed by the Guarantee fund for the year 2021. The installments remain the same as the previous year.

The installment amount under obligatory third-party liability insurance for motor vehicles paid to the Fund for motor vehicles that are not insured with the Guarantee fund for 2021 remains 10.50 BGN.

The installment amount with the Reserve fund under the Guarantee fund remains at 2.50 BGN for each motor vehicle insured under obligatory third-party liability insurance.

This makes the total amount of installments under every obligatory third-party liability motor insurance policy to the Guarantee fund equal the same amount of 13 BGN.

The amount for installments made by insurers offering obligatory “Accident” insurance to passengers in public transport vehicles also remains unchanged at 0.15 BGN for each seat, not counting the driver.
