The Guarantee fund and the Executive Agency “Road Transport Administration” have established an information exchange connection for the presence of signed MPTL insurance

When the annual technical inspection of a motor vehicle is performed, vehicle owners no longer need to provide a paper copy of their obligatory MPTL insurance contract. As a result of a newly established information exchange connection between the “Road transport administration” executive agency and the Guarantee fund, the presence and validity of the insurance is checked electronically, at each inspection service point.

“Our goal is to make things easier for vehicle owners and to cut down on the unnecessary paperwork and administrative details”, Mr. Maksim Kolev, chairman of the board of the Guarantee fund, pointed out. He also stated that providing customers with convenient digital solutions is among the main strategic priorities of the Guarantee fund.
